Scope

This document is to present the current European practices in the utilization of secondary manufactured and recycled materials in earthworks. The document will cover different classes of materials and their typical uses along with identifying potential technical and environmental risks and mitigation measures that can be adopted. The scope of the document will exclude the use of secondary manufactured and recycled materials in pavement materials and concrete.
