This European Standard gives guidance for designers and building construction teams in the incorporation of ventilation and air conditioning systems into new and existing buildings and specifically covers precautions to prevent the spread of fire, smoke or other by-products of combustion within a building through movement of air for environmental control i.e. ventilation, heating and cooling.
