Scope

This Technical Specification describes a calculation method based on mass balance principles. It is intended to be used for complex production systems where bio-based and fossil feedstock cannot be segregated and the ratio bio-based to fossil may fluctuate in a minor way. It allows allocating the average bio-based mass input to the product output, based on stoichiometric ratio and actual yield.
