This new European Standard shall describe the calculation method for the energy performance of cooling storage systems. I shall be developed in close collaboration with CEN TC 228 and cover:
• Cold water storage tanks;
• Ice storage devices;
• Phase change materials;
• Charging and discharging strategies;
• control information from TC 247.
