Scope

This standard is valid for dimensions, design and material of clamp connections for butt-welding, the
long version (stub form KL) is intended for orbital welding.
The clamp connections are designed for the following admissible pressure ratings:
Outside tube diameter from 6.35 mm up to 42.4 mm: 2.5 MPa (25 bar);
Outside tube diameter from 48.3 mm up to 76.2 mm: 1.6 MPa (16 bar);
Outside tube diameter from 85.0 mm up to 219.1 mm: 1.0 MPa (10 bar).
The admissible pressure ratings are configured for a temperature range of –10°C to +140°C using
appropriate clamps and gasket compounds.
