This European Standard specifies a test method for determination of shoe/surface friction interaction of synthetic sports surfaces. The method can be used for the assessment of sports surfaces both indoor and outdoor.
NOTE: The method is not considered suitable for long pile synthetic turf surfaces where EN 15301-1 Surfaces for sports areas. Determination of rotational resistance should be used.
