Scope

This European Standard describes the techniques to be used for fully automatic pulse-echo, ultrasonic testing of brass rods on diameter or equivalent thickness less or equal to 60 mm or equivalent section. Mechanised, semi-automatic techniques may be used but should be agreed between the purchaser and the supplier.
