Scope

This document applies for domestic fireplaces/appliances producing a flame using ethanol based or gelatinous fuel for heating. This document applies to free-standing appliances and built-in appliances. This document applies for appliances ready for use, whose burner is of one unit or are an integral component of the appliances but not for appliances with a separate fuel tank. This document does not apply for appliances for keeping food warm (Rechauds), as well as for appliances for use in boats, caravans and other vehicles.
