Scope

This Technical Report describes procedures suitable for use in the field for reducing the size of field samples, with or without combining increments, to aid practical transportation to the laboratory. NOTE The procedures listed in this Technical Report reflect current best practice, but these are not exhaustive and other procedures might be equally relevant. This Technical Report is applicable to sub-sampling of sludge, treated biowaste, and soils in the landscape.
