Scope

This standard specifies principles and testing procedures for the in-situ measurement of the thermal performance of construction products, opaque building elements and the heat transfer rate through building elements and structures.

This standard covers internal environmental conditions and all effects of the natural external environment, for example wind, air infiltration and solar radiation.

The results of measurements carried out to this standard are intended to be used to complement thermal performances established under steady state conditions.
