Preparation of silicon carbide materials for subsequent analysis by EN ISO 12677 cen:proj:33143

Scope

Reduced materials such as silicon carbides cannot be prepared into XRF beads by the methods described in ENISO12677. The Standard will describe how ground samples of silicon carbide bearing materials can be converted into glass beads for subsequent analysis by the instrumental part of ENISO12677. It will include any special blank corrections and calibration requirements related to these materials.
