Scope

The standard will provide clear and unambiguous definitions for the individual quality indices of illuminance and luminance meters. It defines test procedures and numerical evaluation of these tests and classifies illuminance and luminance meters on basis of the
indices. Furthermore it provides guidance in the choice of illuminance and luminance meters for different applications.
