Scope

The objective of this European Standard is to achieve safe connection of fixed and movable catering gas appliances, gas central heating systems and other gas appliances used in the public access areas by specifying the requirements of performance, materials and test methods.The corrugated metal gas hose assemblies as specified are suitable for the connection of appliances used in the public area, using gas for a pressure less than or equal to 0,5 bar.These assemblies are designed for the installation by officially authorised installers of gas installations. These assemblies are not for use in domestic applications.The term gas relates to a first, second or third family gas as referred to in EN 437, Table 1. These gases are commonly referred to as manufactured gases or liquefied petroleum gases (LPG).
