Scope

Standardization in the field of European damper test requirements and harmonization with ISO Standards for Intumescent fire dampers. An Intumescent fire damper fire resistance test standard should require identical pressure and time/temperature conditions as those currently necessary in EN1366-2 for mechanical fire dampers but should take account of the different means of activation peculiar to intumescent dampers.
