This European Standard is issued specially for manual methods for determining the velocity, volume and/or mass flow rates of gas streams in ducts, stacks and chimneys from stationary sources; their performance criteria, quality assurance and traceability. This European Standard is built on reference to EU Directive 2000/76/EC and EU Directive 2001/80/EC on the limitation of emissions of certain pollutants into the air from large combustion plants, but may be used in other industries where, however, the standard is not validated by experimental work.
