Fibre reinforced gypsum sheet products

Scope

This European Standard specifies the characteristics and performance of fibre reinforced gypsum boards intended to be used in building construction works including those intended for secondary manufacturing operations. It includes boards designed to receive either direct surface decoration or gypsum plaster. These products are continuously produced rigid sheets. They are composed of gypsum reinforced with fibres which may be mineral or organic. The fibres may be positioned on the surface, in the core or throughout the product. Products covered by EN 520 or EN13815 are excluded.
