Scope

This standard applies to contents of message from TICS and other systems, either via an integrated vehicle TICS user interface, or individual TICS device interfaces presented to drivers of road vehicles. It defines several safety-relevant criteria and their relative weights to establish the priorities of TICS messages to drivers. It prioritises messages not only from TICS installed in vehicles as standard equipment but also from aftermarket add-on TICS devices.
