Scope

This standard enables interoperable public transport applications. It is dedicated to ticketing applications. The standard lifts the collection of data elements of ENV 1545-1 and ENV 1545-2 to a level where clear and concise information is provided for implementers. The standard defines: - a functional system description; - a data framework; - a card device interface as a basis for interoperable public transport applications and to manage ENV 1545-1 and ENV 1545-2 data elements and structures.
