Participation of a national standards institution in the activities planned by another standards institution CEN/CLC Guide 7:2001

Scope

EEC Directive 83/189 states in Article 3 that:
"The Commission and the standards institutions shall be informed if one or more
standards institutions:
- wish to be involved passively or actively (by sending an observer) in activities planned by other standards institutions
- wish a European standard or any other document leading to uniform technical specifications to be drawn up".
