Scope

These rules apply to the cores of flexible cables, conforming with harmonization documents HD 21 and HD 22, for use in fixed installations and for supplying fixed or mobile current-using equipment, for which the voltage does not exceed the upper limit of Voltage Band 2 (according to harmonization document HD 193). They do not apply to cables used in the internal wiring of current-using equipment or factory built assemblies.
