Scope

This document specifies requirements and test methods for equippping high and enhanced visibility clothing with active lighting in addition to EN ISO 20471:2016 and EN 17353:2020. It does not replace any requirem ents of both said standards / documents.
This document specifies the requirements for equipping of high and enhanced visibility clothing with active lighting visually signalling the presence of its wearer. High and enhanced visibility clothing with active lighting is intended to ensure clear visibility of the wearer at dusk and in darkness even in the absence of any external direct light source.
This document applies to products with a voltage lower than 50 V AC or 75 V DC, respectively.
