Scope

Two possible variants:
1. The report could be divided into two parts: one on earthworks design and the other on execution of works. Maybe a third part for maintenance of earth-structures.
2. Another possibility could be to make a general presentation of the different steps of design and construction (and maintenance) then extract themes that would be developed later (e.g. pollution questions).
The following paragraphs cover in a quasi exhaustive way the subjects to be discussed, but they are not in order.
