Scope

This Technical Report (CEN/TR 16907-8) gives examples of European practices for successfully using alternative materials in earthworks.
It covers all earthworks, whether for roads, railways, and other infrastructures, including for fills, capping layers, transition zones to bridges, drainage ribs or others (details see EN 16907-1, chapter 1 Scope).
