This European standard specifies the functional model in which the standard communication systems are working. This EN should help the customers to check which of the standardised communication systems is the most appropriate one for the special
project. This EN should reference to every standardised communication system in a BACS environment, which are BACnet, LonTalk and EIB/Konnex.
