Scope

This standard lays down technical specifications for extinguisher bodies and their accessories. It applies to the bodies of extinguishers in which the service pressure does not exceed 25 bar and to propellant gas cartridges. A specific section gives requirements relative to carbon dioxide extinguishers bodies.
