ISO International standards for Education and learning services provide the requirements for quality training services and better-qualified training professionals. The Technical Committee ISO/TC 232 develops a wide range of standards, including, amongst other:

ISO 29991 covering requirements for language learning services
ISO 29992 providing guidance on how to assess the outcomes of learning services
ISO 29993 providing service requirements for learning services outside formal education
ISO 29994 on requirements for distance learning for education and learning services
