Cranes - Requirements on welded joints

Scope

This standard specifies requirements for the manufacturing of steel welded joints in cranes to ensure the
intended level of safety.

This standard defines the method of allocating quality requirements to welded joints used in cranes, including the extent of the non- destructive tests and the acceptance criteria to be applied.

This standard applies to welded steel joints designed according to the relevant parts of EN 13001 or the
applicable harmonized product standards.
