This European standard specifies crimped fittings for rubber hoses intended for use with saturated steam. These crimped fittings for steam hoses (detailed in EN ISO 6134) have to meet the same safety level as their clamp type versions. This part supplements the EN 14423 "Clamp type coupling assemblies for use with steam hoses rated for pressures up to 18 bar"
