This document describes the functionality, position, constraints and operation of a MTB system installed in bogies for use in emergency and in low adhesion condition on Mainline Trains up to speeds of 280 km/h. This document also contains test methods and acceptance criteria for a MTB system. This document also identifies interfaces with electrical equipment, bogie, track and other brake systems.
