Scope

This European Standard specifies minimum requirements for compressed air line and powered fresh air hose breathing apparatus incorporating a hood which are used to provide protection when undertaking blasting work using solid abrasives. Laboratory and practical performance tests are included for the assessment of compliance with the requirements.
