Decorative high-pressure laminates (HPL) - Sheets based on thermosetting resins - Flooring grade decorative laminates

Scope

This addendum to EN 438 part 1 specifies five classes of decorative laminated sheets intended specifically for flooring applications, after bonding to suitable substrates. The requirements apply only to the surface laminate, and additional properties will need to be specified in order to define the performance of the finsished flooring product. The flooring grade laminates are classified according to their intended intensity of use.
