This standard specifies marking and performance requirements, methods of classification, methods of determining dimensions and methods of test for commercial refrigerated cabinets for the sale and display of food products. This standard does not cover refrigerated vending machines. This part specifies the procedure to test the defrosting method of commercial refrigerated cabinets intended for the sale and/or display of food products, when tested in the same conditions as those specified for the temperature test (see EN 441-5).
